2015: Nigerians To Decide Jonathan’s Fate – Political Adviser

An aide of President Goodluck Jonathan has said that Nigerians will be the ones to decide whether the president will be a contestant in the 2015 presidential election, not scheming politicians who see today’s PDP convention as a launch pad for 2015.

The senior special assistant to the president on political matters, Ahmed Gulak, also stated that Jonathan could not be held responsible for the party’s electoral failure in the south-west. According to him, President Olusegun Obasanjo is partly responsible for the poor showing in the south-west.

Speaking on today’s convention, the SSA said that Jonathan had given his assurances to all contestants for the national chairman of the PDP that he would be willing to work with any of them that gets elected to lead the party.
