Joke Silva, Olu Jacobs, others Storm London Olympics 2012 (#TeamNigeria)

As part of the celebrations during the Olympics, Lufodo Productions have put together a major showcase of Nigerian theatre.

This July catch Four generations of Nigeria’s finest performers live on tour as they hit the London Olympics with three stage plays , as part of celebrations of the Olympic Games.

The plays which are to be staged are “The Naming Ceremony” “The Lion and the Jewel” and “The King Must Dance Naked”

Performing are Olu Jacobs, Joke Silva, Justus Esiri, Tosan Ugbeye, Toyin Oshinaike, Segun Arinze, Bimbo Akintola, Keppy Ekpeyong , Najite Dede, Zara Udofia, OC Ukeje, Doyin Owobamirin, LaLa Akindoju, Abiodun Kassim, Paul Alumona and Many More.

These plays are also part of the Nollywood at 20 celebrations as there would be a Nollywood film festival and the official opening of ’30 Nigeria House.

I commend LUFODO for putting together this power packed crew.

To all my blog readers in the Uk and the whole of Europe I’ll keep you posted as regards venues and viewing times…

And to those of us here in Nigeria, I’m sure we have a big question for Lufodo “will we get a chance to watch these plays in Nigeria”?

I hope we get a YES!!!
