Al Faisaly have won their 32nd Jordanian league title after a dramatic 3-0 playoff final victory over Al Ramtha on Sunday.

In midweek, the Blue Eagles and Al Ramtha had finished the 22-round season level on 51 points at the top of the league, forcing a one-off playoff to decide the champion.

Al Faisaly had simply needed to win at home to Al Wihdat in their final regular season game in midweek, but drew 0-0 while Al Ramtha edged Al Jazeera 1-0 to force the playoff.

However the Blue Eagles eventually prevailed to become champions for a 32nd time in Jordan, clinching their second crown in three seasons.

Al Faisaly already also won the Jordanian FA Cup last month after a 1-0 final victory over Manshia Bani Hassan.
