Bayern Munich star Thomas Muller defends Arjen Robben against recent criticism
“The claims that he is too selfish are simply wrong,” Muller was quoted as saying by TZ. “One of his main assets is his outstanding dribble, and the fact is that dribbling is something you do individually. “I can’t remember the last time that I saw a dribble involving a one-two.” Robben has lost his spot in the Bayern starting XI in recent weeks, but the Bavarians are still keen to renew the winger’s current contract until 2013.
Bayern Munich attacker Thomas Muller has taken time to defend team-mate Arjen Robben against recent criticism from former stars such as Mario Basler and Franz Beckenbauer.
Both Basler and Beckenbauer feel that the Netherlands international is too selfish on the pitch, but Muller feels that it’s unfair to blame Robben for making use of one of his biggest qualities.
