Clemente follows Mourinho’s lead by refusing to speak to press ahead of Real Madrid clash

Sporting boss Javier Clemente has taken a leaf out of Jose Mourinho‘s book by refusing to speak to the press ahead of this weekend’s Primera Division clash with Real Madrid.
The Rojiblancos announced on their official website that not only will the Liga strugglers train behind closed doors at El Molinon on Friday, their coach has decided against giving any interviews before travelling to the Spanish capital.

It now seems likely that neither of the coaches involved in the game at the Santiago Bernabeu will face the media beforehand, with reports in Spain suggesting that Mourinho has now decided that he will not speak to the press again this season outside of Champions League games.

Madrid only recently ended a media blackout which had been imposed in the wake of their controversial draw with Villarreal at El Madrigal on March 21.

Los Blancos’ meeting with Sporting gets underway at 20.00CET on Saturday.
