University of Ibadan Alumni register trademark for Lamidi Adedibu Univeristy

Ibadan – Students and alumni of the University of Ibadan have registered trademarks for the name ‘Lamidi Adedibu University,’ thus making it illegal for anyone to use the name either for business or as new name for an existing university.

Speaking for the trademark owners, Professor Fiwasile said:

“We own the mark,Lamidi Adedibu University, and a dozen other variants of it and it is well within our rights to sue anyone…
