Members of the Northern Elders Forum, (NEF), met with President Goodluck Jonathan late Wednesday at the Aso Rock Villa where they condemned the activities of the Joint Task Force in states across the north, accusing them of gross human right abuses and escalating the insecurity situation in the region.
Apparently frustrated by their inability to capture political power in Nigeria especially after a disappointing outing at the recently concluded PDP General Conventiowhitish outcomes are a pointer to the likely shape of things in 2015, the Northern Elders Forum has lashed out what it termed Southerners calling for the restructuring of the country saying that they arereader for Nigeria’s break up.
